The construction of the new church began in 1797. It was finally completed on July 26, 1797, when it was blessed by Metropolitan Stefan Stratimirovi\u0107. Today&#8217;s chapel of Saint Petka was built in 1800 on the site of the old monastery chapel.<\/p><p><strong>Architecture<\/strong>: the original Fenech church was built in the spirit of the tradition of Serbian medieval architecture; the current church is a typical baroque sacral building, which can be immediately seen in detail if you visit the virtual tour of the Fru\u0161ka Gora monasteries.<\/p><p><strong>Iconostasis:<\/strong>\u00a0was carved by woodcarver Aksentije Markovi\u0107 from Novi Sad in 1798, and painted by Petar Radosavljevi\u0107 from Pan\u010devi\u0107 in 1818-1820.
