Savinac Monastery
Savinac Monastery (virtual tour of Fruška Gora monasteries)
Time of construction: very little is known about the remains of the medieval temple, near Ledinac.
The church is dedicated to Saint Sava, the first Serbian archbishop.
Architecture: there are assumptions that it is a medieval monastery of Saint Sava or that it is a church dedicated to Saint George or Saint Procopius. It can be visited on the page of our internet portal if you visit the virtual tour of Fruška Gora monasteries.
Today: His Grace the Bishop of Srem, Mr. Vasilije, declared the medieval sanctuary to be the monastery of St. Sava and thus began its restoration in 2017.
