A new permanent iconostasis was created in 1790–1793, the work of the Dubrovnik artist Tomas Firtler, and the icons were painted by Jefrem Isailović, however, experts of the Provincial Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments believe that they could also be the work of Janko Halkozović (they are not signed or dated ). There is only one archival photo from 1885 of iconostasis from Staro Hopovo, and the Provincial Institute keeps several saved icons.
