Savinac Monastery

Very little is known about the remains of the medieval temple near Ledinci. There are assumptions that it is a medieval monastery of Saint Sava or that it is a church dedicated to Saint George or Saint Procopius. The Bishop of Srem, Mr. Vasilije, declared the medieval sanctuary to be the monastery of St. Sava and thus began its restoration in 2017. Since Teodora Batinić was appointed hegumeness of the established monastic family, all services prescribed by the typikon have been performed regularly within this monastery.
